DROP Registration (For Police Officers Only)
- Welcome to the San Francisco Employees' Retirement System (SFERS) Counseling Appointment Scheduler.
Do not use this Appointment Scheduler if you want to retire for Service, Disability, or Vesting.
SFERS will provide counseling appointments for SFERS Police Officers who are eligible
to participate in the DROP Program according to the eligibility requirements defined by
the San Francisco Administrative Code.
If you want to enroll in DROP, you will need to speak to one of the SFERS Member Services
DROP designated counselors.
A counseling/enrollment appointment can be made with this Appointment Scheduler. If
you are not able to successfully schedule an appointment AND/OR you have special
needs, please call SFERS at (415) 487-7085
Be sure to bring on the date of your counselling/enrollment appointment the following
documents/information:
- Picture ID
- Marriage Certificate or Certificate of Registration of Domestic Partnership
- Spouse's or Domestic Partner's Birth Certificate and SSN
- Unmarried child or children (under age 18) date of birth and SSN
- If no spouse or Domestic Partner, Beneficiary's Birth Certificate and SSN
All counseling/enrollment sessions will be conducted at SFERS' office located at 30 Van
Ness Avenue, Suite 3000 (3rd Floor), San Francisco, CA 94102, at the corner of Van Ness
Avenue and Market Street. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment
and check-in with the Receptionist. We anticipate that your session will last up to two hours.
